THE INFLUENCE OF LEADERSHIP STYLES ON ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING

This research investigates the influence of leadership styles on organizational learning. Objectives are: (1) to assess the impact of various leadership styles on learning and development, (2) to analyze the relationship between leadership and knowledge sharing, and (3) to identify best practices for fostering organizational learning. A survey design is chosen for its ability to provide quantitative insights from numerous respondents. Using Taro Yamane's formula, the sample size is 340, ensuring accuracy and reliability. The study focuses on the education sector in Lagos, Nigeria, where organizational learning is vital. The reliability coefficient score is 0.88, indicating high consistency. Findings reveal that transformational and participative leadership styles significantly enhance organizational learning, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Recommendations include implementing leadership development programs that focus on fostering learning and promoting a culture of knowledge sharing to enhance organizational learning.
